Kathy L. Conn

Kathy L. Conn, 65, of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio on January 31, 1954. Kathy was the daughter of Earl and Margaret (Trine) Reed.

A caregiver at heart, Kathy was employed at LifeCare and was a medical transcriptionist for 17 years. Kathy was a volunteer EMT with Washington, and Monroe Townships. A farm girl at heart, she loved gardening, and animals of all kinds. She would always take in a stray whether it be raccoons, rabbits or deer. She married the love of her life, Billy Eugene Conn, on September 28, 1989, and the two shared 29 years of marriage together. A devoted wife, mother, and grandma, Kathy took pride in caring for her home and the love ones in it.

She leaves behind her husband, Billy Conn; her children, Amanda Conn, Julie Bocook, Billy Ray Conn, and Jodie Conn; seven grandchildren including Chase Mandusic; a great-grandchild; brother, Keith (Wilma) Reed; four brothers-in-law; and a sister-in-law. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law.

Family and friends may visit from 5:00-8:00 pm on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cleveland Clinic or OhioHealth Hospice.
