Jean P. Thomas

Jean was a member of First Church of the Open Bible which she dearly loved attending. She enjoyed old Christian music ~ especially the Gaither Brothers, sitting outdoors and reading. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Larry (Kimbra) Thomas and Michael (Tammy) Thomas; a daughter, Michele (Dale) Watt; four grandsons, Luke (Beverly) Thomas, Sean (Bailey) Lott, Aaron (Shannon) Lott and Cody Thomas; 18 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Fry of England.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Thomas in 1986; a grandson, Lee Thomas; a granddaughter, Jessica Thomas; and a sister, Joan Hartley.

Friends may call from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Dink Porter. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of the Open Bible.
