Donald grew up on a farm in Kansas, Ohio and was a veteran of the United States Army Reserve. He received his Masters Degree in Architecture from The Ohio State University. Donald started his own architecture firm, Don Graber Architecture, and was proud of the fact that he built the Marion One building. He also provided many jobs for area people and their families, was a part of the Parade of Homes and was a landlord for many area properties. He was a member and past Master of the Mansfield Lodge #35 F&AM. A very good Christian man, Donald was a member of Community Bible Church. He was an avid hunter, especially deer and loved to fish his pond. Donald enjoyed traveling overseas and loved the mountains of North Carolina. He was a huge Ohio State fan and attending a Rose Bowl was a highlight in his life. He loved his family as they were very important to him.
He is survived by his children, Kathy Fox, David (Julianna) Graber and Melinda Saylor; grandchildren, Mike (Christina) , Ben (Maria), Amy (Angie), Gary, Andy, Holly, Jeanette, Sherri, Amy, Michelle and David; great grandchildren, Lily and Steven as well as many other great grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Francis) Graber; and a sister, Mary. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., Friday at the funeral home.
