A homemaker, the greatest joy in her life was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed art, traveling and boating. She attended First Christian Church and volunteered for the Ontario Recreation Department serving as President for many years. She loved helping children and serving the community and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. She loved baking and was known for her excellent cookies and decorative cakes.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Fred Kohler; a son, Kortney Kohler of Ontario; a daughter, Kandice Kohler-Tibuni and her husband, Daniel Tibuni of Boston; two sisters, Sandra (Jim) Jones and Kyle Kuskowski both of Georgia; her mother-in-law, Marie Kohler of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at First Christian Church, 200 W. 3rd Street, Mansfield conducted by Rev. Jane Stout where a reception will follow the service from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 in Ontario Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.
