Carol Dawn Cox

Carol was the daughter of John and Hazel (Cash) Stanley, and she was born on December 18, 1937 in Alliance, Ohio. Carol was a woman of strong faith who treated others with respect and extended grace to others. She was funny and had a knack for making up a song as she loved to sing. Carol loved crafting, sewing, canning and was an exceptional baker. Most of all, Carol loved being with her family and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Carol leaves behind her daughter, Michelle (Brent) Rastetter; her grandchildren, Rodney Martin, Jessica (Matthew) Miller, Michael (Taryn) Kimble, Brandon Kimble, Collin, Caden, and Ella Rastetter; her great grandchildren, Brett, Trinity, Hunter, Gage, Colton, Kayson, Leighla, Zoey, Michael, Lucas, Koden, Carolynn, and Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Cox; a daughter, Danette Adkins; her sisters, Marge Ormiston, Mary Ormiston, Ramona Hoffer, Pat Anderson, and Kay Orolin; her brothers, Bob and Bill Stanley; and her dearly loved cats, Angel, Smokey, and, Frisky.

The family will observe private services.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Conard House.  The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the Cox family.
