Andrew Scott Bolen was born in Willard, Ohio on December 25, 1967, and passed away on December 6, 2024. He was a child of Christmas, an experienced home improvement contractor, and a proud father and grandfather.
Friends remember his infectious laugh, his willingness to help others, and his favorite exclamation, "Woooo Wee!"
A graduate of Ontario High School and Pioneer Vocational School, Andy was known early for breaking records in football and track & field.
Andy married his high school sweetheart Beverly (Steagall) Braden, raised their daughter Ashley together and remained friends with Bev long after the two separated.
Andy experienced the extremes of life and enjoyed telling stories about his work and his adventures. He laid tile in some of the nicest homes in the Mansfield area and worked alongside many talented tradesmen in factories, yards, and homes around the state. Recently, he was proud to be employed at Tavens in Mansfield, Ohio.
Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Amos Bolen and his stepfather, Bruce Engle. He is survived by his mother, Dianne (Brubaker) Engle; stepmother, Elaine (Abreu) Bolen; brothers, Michael (Shannon) Bolen and Jeromy (Alison) Bolen; daughter, Ashley (Ryan) Braun; grandson, Elias Braun; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
