Granny moved to the Mansfield area following her marriage on January 31, 1952 to Alvin Boggs. She had worked in the Mansfield City Schools as a cook and retired from Hi Stat Manufacturing in Lexington. She enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo and word search puzzles. She also enjoyed crocheting, berry picking and gardening ~ canning what she grew but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and her four legged companions ~ Lulu and Muffin.
She is survived by her children, Audrey (Steve) Sapp, Rick (Linda) Boggs, Ken (Angela) Boggs, John (Karen) Boggs and Larry (Brenda) Boggs; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Leonard "Junior" Logan and Clyde (Elaine) Logan.
In addition to her parents, Granny was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Boggs in May of 1982; sisters, Ruby Jordan, Christine Stevens, Brenda Stephenson and Avonell "Toots" Sparks; a brother, George Logan; sisters-in-law, Janice Logan and Betty Logan; a grandson, Larry Boggs; a granddaughter, Kelly Koedel; and a great grandson, Zachariah Lunsford.

Friends may call from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 South Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Ferlie Yates. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to OhioHealth Hospice.
