Mary P. O'Shea

Mary P. O’Shea, 81, of Manchester passed away Monday January 15, 2018 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mary spent most of her life there before moving to Lakewood, NJ then settling down in Manchester 2 years ago. While living in Brooklyn, Mary spent many years as the financial secretary for the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. After moving to New Jersey, she worked for the Church of Ascension in Bradley Beach and Saint Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church in Brick. Mary loved her family greatly and was most happy when spending time with them.

Born to the late George and Mary Skillings, Mary was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Timothy J. O’Shea Jr., who just passed this past November. She is survived by her four devoted daughters, Susan and John Maloney, Tara O’Shea and Tom Jones, Erin and Fred Leske, Mary Pat and Timothy Ryan, and her eight adoring grandchildren, Kimberly (John) Mazza and Kaitlyn Maloney, Meagan and Kevin Jones, Ryan and Morgan Leske, Timothy and Brooke Ryan.

A visitation will be held Friday January 19, 2018 from 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ 08759 with a Mass to be celebrated Saturday January 20, 2018 10 am at St. Dominic’s RC Church, Brick, NJ.
