Aileen Welby, of the Pine Lake Park section of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Wednesday May 26, 2021, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Hoboken, Aileen grew up in Union City and lived in Union Beach before moving to Manchester in 1976.She had worked as a receptionist for Dr. Thelmo's Practice in Brick for several years. Aileen was an animal lover and loved her cats, but what she loved the most was spending time at home with her husband John.
Aileen was predeceased by her father William Robert Schlemm, her sister Jeannie Martin. She is survived by her devoted husband John Welby, her loving mother Eileen Schlemm, her brother William Robert Schlemm and his wife Karen, her brother in law Walter Martin, sisters in law Elaine Welby and Pam Schwindt and her husband Joe, as well as many nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her very much.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday June 6, 2021, from 2-4 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759.
