Mel is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Judy; their son Jonathan Davidson and his son Cary; their daughter Robin Davidson Swimm, her husband Jamison and her son Garrett; and his cousins Lois Barnett and Steven Bloom.
A funeral service will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 at 9:00 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 immediately followed by a committal service at 11:45 AM at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Road, Elmont, New York 11003.
Shiva will be observed at the Davidson residence on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM; and Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
