He was born in Brooklyn, where he lived until moving to Jackson in 2005.
Prior to retiring, he was a Pharmacist and owned Phillips Pharmacy, Brooklyn N.Y.
Mr. Zuckerman served in the Navy during the Korean War, and later for one year in the US Marine Corps. He was a member of the VFW, Brooklyn, the Wounded Warriors and the Battleground Lodge Knights of Pythias.
Son of the late Max and Rose Zuckerman, he was predeceased by his first wife Selma, who died in 2001, his brother Lou Zuckerman and his sister Mae Rozan.
Surviving are his wife Elissa Winter Zuckerman, his children Stuart Zuckerman and his wife Judy and Cheryl Robin and her husband Andy, 5 grandchildren Jamie Philipps and her husband Brian, Shari Stern and her husband Perry, Mark Zuckerman, Michelle Robin and Sarah Zuckerman, and 2 great-grandchildren Noa Sloane Stern and Anna Rose Philipps.
To respect everyone's health, a private graveside service will be held at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
