Born in Brooklyn, she resided in South Brunswick with her family until settling in Monroe Township about 20 years ago. She was very proud of her Brooklyn roots, where she graduated from James Madison High School and received her degree from Brooklyn College.
Prior to retiring, Marcia and her husband, Jerry, ran a family business. She was predeceased by Jerry in 2002. Marcia was also predeceased by her brother, Harold Kirstein.
Most important in her life was her family. She loved and cherished her four sons, her daughters-in-law, her nine grandchildren, her five nieces and nephews, her sisters-in-law, and her brother-in-law. Marcia loved spending time with her family at holidays and will also be remembered by her many lifelong friends, which included multiple generations.
Marcia enjoyed being active in local charities and community organizations. She was very creative and enjoyed her arts and crafts, particularly jewelry-making.
