Sorry to hear that Jack has passed, but I'll always remember him as being passionate about his role in System Operations in working to keep the lights on for Con Edison.

Dear Jack,
What a pleasure knowing and working for you the last 25 years as your landscaper. You always treated myself and staff respectfully and  were extremely loyal and understanding. I will miss our chats about today's youth and travel. Our conversations in the garage were priceless and I always admired your ability to work with tools . Especially for a corporate guy as I would call you. You always spoke so proudly of your wife Shelly and family. I will miss you my friend and thank you for being you all those years.

My sincere condolences to the family of Jack Feinstein, he was a consummate mentor for the Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation and a dear friend to our New Jersey group.  We shared many fabulous meals and warm conversations where his devotion was evident. He lead by example and was generous with his time and talents.  Jack encouraged others to take on new roles and then supported us along the way.  He will truly be missed by all as his legacy of leadership and service remain.

Uncle Jack's visits were always the best. My favorite memory of him was when my grandmother, Judith, hosted a family reunion and he was there with Uncle Ricky and their wives. Uncle Jack always brought us [children] little toys, but the best one was the mini flashlight. He gave us each a battery powered keychain flashlight, and we loved it very much. In fact, we went after him with our flashlights and probably shined it in his face the whole day. 

Another memory I have of Uncle Jack was at another family reunion my grandmother hosted. Rebecca, Esther, and I were drawing outside in the backyard. Rebecca and Esther decided to sell my drawings to our family members. Uncle Jack was one of my first "customers". He bought some of my drawings and gave me a few dollars, which was VERY generous.

That's the person that Uncle Jack was. Kind, caring, and giving. May his neshama have an aliyah, and we will all miss him very much.

We too were privileged to spend wonderful days with Jack and Shelley on cruises and visited them in New Jersey . Jack was a wonderfully kind man who enjoyed his life and his family . We have wonderful memories of our time with him . We wish the family long life and hope the memories of your life with him will be a source of comfort .

Jack, my cousin, was indeed a kind and loving man.   Family was very important to him.   Whenever my husband, sons and I would visit from California, Rochelle and Jack would host a cousin’s reunion at their home.   It was always a special time for me.   His thoughtfulness will always be remembered.  I love you Jackie.

We met Jack and Shelly around fifteen years ago on a Panama Canal cruise. It was only our fourth cruise so the experienced travelers took care of us and shared their knowledge and their wonderful back veranda. We discovered we were booked on the same Australian cruise, and we shared many adventures on two Australian cruises with them. They included us in a Captain's dinner, receptions when they were honored for their number of cruises and/or numbers of days. They have become part of our "family by choice."
We had many laughs and I especially remember the lack of teaspoons for the Jack's sugar free jello. I think Jack ended up "appropriating" one from dinner so he could actually consume the jello from the narrow glass. Why Celebrity thought you could eat the jello with a soup spoon bigger than the narrow glass is still a mystery. 

Jack was not shy about advertising Brooklyn Tech. There was never a cruise when  he did not meet a fellow alum. One time he met an older man who attended before him and he always "suggested " the alum join the giving program.

We rode elephants together, had a champagne and chocolate picnic in Hobart, explored Bali, had wonderful meals together. 
We have also shared good and bad times together. in real life.
It has been a true joy to have met and had Jack and Shelly in our lives.

I just heard through the Con Ed grapevine that your dear father passed away yesterday. I send my very deepest sympathies to you and your family, especially your mom.

Jack was my direct boss at Con Ed when he was the Plant Manager at Arthur Kill in the late 80s. Both of us left the plant at the same time where he went back to System Operations and I went off to be Plant Manager at Hudson Ave. 

He was one of my favorite bosses and a large mentor to me.  I learned so much from him from a technical aspect as well as what it takes to be a good boss. He always brought constant positivity,  levity, practicality and compassion to all who worked at the plant.  He was my staunch supporter and definitely gave me much sound advice.

I loved the fact that he would take time out of his day to also pursue running around the plant premises to clear his head and stay fit. Most of all, his family was the center of his life, not his work, which I so admired.

I did keep in touch with him through the years, even when I walked away from the industry to have kids.

I did catchup with him three years ago in August when they had a anniversary celebration at the plant- he and your mom attended and it was wonderful to see them both. And I am so glad that they had opportunities to travel to exotic places and experience the world post retirement.

I know that he is in a better place now and will be your forever guardian going forward.

Please send my deepest sympathies to your mom and know that I am thinking of you at this sad time.

Dad loved cruising and fishing.  This was taken on our 2016 Alaskan cruise. 

We met Jack & Shelly on a cruise. Although we lived far apart, we continued our friendship. Jack encouraged us to join them on a cruise which included Carnival in Brazil. We loved hearing about their adventures on cruises with family and friends. We were always struck by his kindness, intelligence, humor and warm caring personality. Jack and Shelly were the perfect couple, always showing each other love and respect. He was a special man. May the loving memories you hold in your heart bring you comfort. 

We will always remember our annual family cruises.  Dad (Zayda) loved spending time with his grandchildren. 

Jack was an early and long time member of the Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation's Board of Directors. He was instrumental in improving the management, fundraising, and reach of the Foundation. His business acumen, coupled with his "can do" approach, resulted in our organization becoming one of the largest and most successful public high school alumni support groups in the country. 
He was most respected for his knowledge, his opinions were valued and his generosity inspired others  to get involved and participate. He has left a lasting legacy for future generations of Tech alumni.
He will be sorely missed.
