Gary J. Balon

Born in Rahway, he lived in Old Bridge for many years before moving to Las Vegas where he lived for 16 years. He moved back to New Jersey 5 years ago and most recently lived in Monroe.

Prior to retiring, he was in sales with Americana Portraits, West Orange, for many years.

Son of the late Louis and Minerva Balon, he was also predeceased by his beloved wife Roberta, who passed away in 2019 and his brothers Arthur and Morton Balon.

Gary will always be loved and remembered by his son Kevin Balon and his wife Linda, his daughter Debbie Meyer and her husband Rey Mercado and his siblings Edythe Balon, Dorcee Stollar and Jules Balon. He will also be missed by his cherished grandchildren Jeremy Meyer, Heidi Kiely and her husband Dane, Danielle Janke and her husband Wayne and Charles Ferrone and his adored great-grandchildren Ellianna, Aria and Logan Janke.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, followed by interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. The family will be receiving guests from 10:15 am to 11:00 am
