Ellen Glenn passed away peacefully October 18, 2019. She is deeply missed by her husband Barry, her son Adam and his wife Judy, her daughter Tracy Hadel, her husband Dan and their daughters Jordan and Lyla. She is also deeply missed by her mother Florence Dolber and her brother Michael Dolber. She is predeceased by her father Leon Dolber and her sister-in-law Elaine Dolber.
Ellen was born in Brooklyn, New York. She met her future husband, Barry, when she was sixteen years old. Barry was in love immediately. They were married four years later and enjoyed a wonderful marriage of 54 years. During their marriage, they spearheaded a family move from. Brooklyn to New Jersey, first moving to Lakewood, then Freehold, Millstone and ultimately Monroe.
Ellen attended Brooklyn College and was a devoted fourth grade teacher for over thirty years with the Lakewood Public School District. She made an impact on generations of children who benefitted from her caring nature and professionalism.
Most of all, Ellen was devoted to her family and adored her children and grandchildren. Her granddaughters, Jordan and Lyla were the apples of her eye.
Ellen will be forever beloved and missed.
