Dotty is survived by her son Steven Gevarter and his wife Karen Syrylo-Gevarter; daughter Hillary Gevarter; son Evan Gevarter and his wife Lori Gevarter; granddaughter Laura Gevarter; grandson Max Gevarter; grandson Alec Gevarter; grandson David Gevarter; and grandson Eric Gevarter.
Mrs. Gevarter was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dr. Leonard Gevarter in December 2010 as well as her brother Hyman Wasserstein in 1943.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726. Please wear a mask in the funeral home.
A committal service follow at 12:45 PM at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin (Woodbridge), New Jersey 08830.
Shiva will be observed on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Dotty's Residence. Please wear a mask.
