David Herman

David Herman was born in the Bronx on September 5th 1974 to Helene and Steven Herman. He became a big brother in May 1979. He was the first grandchild of Abraham and Lenore Herman (both deceased) and Leib and Dora Goldbaum (both deceased).

After the family moved to East Windsor, NJ in 1983, David’s enthusiasm for learning became clear throughout the years and he graduated from Hightstown High School as salutatorian in the class of 1992. He chose the best East Coast Chemical Engineering University to attend and graduated from the University of Delaware in 1996 with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering graduating magna cum laude. He subsequently attended Princeton University where he obtained a double masters in Chemical Engineering and Operations Research & Financial Engineering.

His pursuit of learning continued throughout his career with a multitude of certifications including obtaining his CFA credential in 2006.

He leveraged his knowledge to teach and tutor others through the years, and has worked in a variety of technical-financial positions. Most recently, David has worked at Citigroup since 2015 in a variety of financial positions building strong relationships with many of his colleagues.

During the last 20 years he has also been extremely active in numerous volunteering roles with organizations focused on helping others.

David is survived by his mother and father, Helene and Steven, his brother Eric, his extended family and many dear friends.
