Born in Brooklyn, NY he lived in Marlboro, NJ before moving to Monroe Twp.
David served proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Manalapan, and was a Jewish War Veteran. He was an active board member in Greenbriar, and Renaissance. He was also an avid tennis player and speed walker.
He was the owner/operator of Trimtastics, where he specialized in trimming and embroidery services in NYC.
He was predeceased by his son, Michael, his sisters Bella Green, Gertrude Friedman and his brother Herman Adges.
David is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Loretta, his devoted daughter Donna Glassman and her husband Robert, his daughter-in-law Ellyn Adges, his 5 adored grandchildren Allison and her husband Pablo, Samantha and her husband Collin, Jamie, Alexandra, and Ethan and his fiancé Jen. David also leaves behind his 3 beloved Great-grandsons; Gavi, Ezra, Theo
Funeral services will be held Friday 9am at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan, NJ followed by his burial at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY.
Shiva will be held at Donna & Robert Glassman’s home in Long Island Friday after the burial until 5pm, Saturday 6-8pm, Sunday 1-4pm & 6-8:30pm Monday 2-4pm & 6-8pm and at Loretta Adges home in New Jersey on Monday 6-9pm & Tuesday 1-4pm & 6-8:30pm
