She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, Jack. Miriam is survived by her sons, David and J.P.
She retired from Bally Ribbon Mills after 35 years as a weaver. She was part of the team that made Parachute cords for our servicemen.
Miriam and Jack resided and raised their sons in Boyertown, PA. In 1966 they purchased a house on LBI where they and the boys vacationed at every summer. In 1978 she and Jack moved to LBI permanently and resided there until the early 90's. They then moved to the Ocean Acres area of Manahawkin, until she moved to Seacrest Village in Little Egg Harbor, NJ
She enjoyed playing golf with Jack at Ocean Acres Country Club and they were both members of Stafford Golf Association. She was a church organist, playing at many different churches in the area. The last two churches she played for were Holy Trinity in Brant Beach and Zion Lutheran Church in Barnegat Light. She would play the organ for the morning service at Holy Trinity and then she and the Pastor would drive over to Zion Lutheran for the afternoon service.
The family would like to thank the staff of Seacrest Village for the wonderful care they gave to Miriam.
Due to COVID-19, the service were handled privately by the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ. To leave online condolences for the Fox family, please visit www.shinnfuneralhome.com
