She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend and loved life itself! Madeline enjoyed travelling with family and friends and was always ready to explore new territory here or abroad. She loved a train-ride to NYC for a Broadway show or any other event. Madeline was a great cook and loved holiday meals with family and friends especially Christmas Eve‘s “Seven Fishes” dinner and Easter’s “Salty Saturday” lunch.
She loved her fun times and gatherings with her “special” cousins and friends. When Madeline wasn’t working on her puzzles, listening to her favorite records, or watching a favorite TV show, she would likely be curled up reading a book.
Madeline was predeceased by her parents Mamie (Asquino) and Thomas Bencivengo and her loving husband Hubert “Bud” Thomas. She is survived by her beloved daughter Kristi and her favorite “hero” son-in-law Lawrence “Chip” Marinari. She is also survived by her loving sister Carol Bencivengo and many cousins and friends.
At Madeline’s request, there will be no funeral services. In Madeline’s memory please have a glass of wine or a mug of beer and remember all the good times. Donations may be made to Joey’s Little Angels, 223 Sharps Lane, Hamilton NJ 08610
