Lynn Zarrillo

Lynn was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 11, 1947 to the late George and Mildred Gatti.

She is survived by her two beloved sons, John and his wife Grace and Louis and his wife Becky and her precious granddaughter, Flora Lee. She is also survived by her brother John Gatti of Whiting, NJ and her sister Marcelle Nygard of Waynesboro, PA, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Lynn is also survived by her former husband, Louis Zarrillo who lived with and cared for her for the last several years.

She was a faithful communicant and Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary of the Pines, as well as a Catechism teacher for over 20 years.

She worked as a secretary for Woodlands Law Offices and as a Teacher’s Aide in the Stafford and Barnegat School Districts. She served as Den Mother to her son’s Cub Scouts Troop, and enjoyed spending time gardening, attending bible study and loving her two dogs.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin, NJ. A mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin, NJ.
