Hospital following a brief illness. He leaves his sister Angela Perrone, his aunt Lucy Failla and
uncle Joseph Failla, niece Dana Miranda, nephew Drew Horvat, niece Carrie Jaume and his
seven great nieces and nephews and many close friends and extended family.
Born and raised in Newark New Jersey the son of Louis M. Perrone and Benedetta Perrone, he
was a long time resident of Fairfield New Jersey. In his early years he spent many days and
nights in his family's restaurants, Lombardo's and Pompeii. After retiring from Pompeii
restaurant, Lou was employed by Red Devil for 26 years in Union New Jersey.
He spent the remainder of his working years at Stadium Auto Body, until his retirement in 2011.
He spent his final years up until his last few days of' his life at Cafe Blossom as everyone's
famous, cherished "Uncle Lou." Uncle Lou had a passion for good food, good wine and ... family.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 27th at Saint Mary's of the Pines in Manahawkin,
New Jersey from 10:30 AM to 11 :30 AM, mass immediately following.
