She was born September 12, 1918 in Philadelphia, PA., the oldest of 14 children. She met her future husband, Joseph during WWII and they married on New Year’s Eve, 1942. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia until she and her husband opened and operated J & J Variety Store.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph, her daughter Dolores and her son Robert.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Sharon, Catherine, Patricia and Regina, her loving grandchildren, Karen, Michael, Patrick, Thomas, Frankie, Mary, Joseph, Diane, Andrew, Bobby, Jennifer and Jimmy and her cherished great-grandchildren, Robert, Bryan, Laura, Mackenzie, Chase, Madison, Mackenzie, Breiana, Aaliyah, Alisa, Rayna, Bobby Jr.,Amber, Patrick Jr. and Evan. She is also survived by her precious great-great-grandchildren, Arianna, Bryan, Juliette, Patrick Sullivan, Bobby and Jessica, her brother, Jude and many nieces and nephews.
Mom was determined to live to 100 and she got her wish.
A memorial service for Loretta will be scheduled at a later date.
