Kenneth Paul Hollander, 73, of Barnegat passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Ken was born and grew up in Bergen County where he was a member of the Montvale Fire Department and the Bergenfield Rotary Club. He would later relocate to Long Beach Island where he lived for most of his life. Ken is the widower of Mary Hollander (nee Warren). He is the Past Assistant Chief of the Barnegat Light Fire Company. During his years in Long Beach Island, Ken served as the General Manager for Gardner Oldsmobile-Cadillac; and as the Assistant Dock Manager for Viking Village. After retiring in 2004, Ken moved to Ocala, FL where he joined the Marion County Corvette Club.
Ken is survived by his wife, Colleen Hollander (nee Mackay); his children, Linda Larson (Karter), Kenneth Hollander (Melissa), Kristi Connell (Tom), Kimberly Hollander, and Kristie Ferraro. Ken will be missed by his sister, Nancy Smith (Brooks); as well as his five grandchildren, Tyler Larson (Lauren), Britt Larson, Erica Jinks, Joseph Jinks, and Sarah Hollander.

Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of Ken's life, Saturday April 27th from 12:30 until 2:30 PM at the Barnegat Light Fire House, 10 West Tenth Street, Barnegat Light, NJ 08006.
