Joseph T Wright

WRIGHT, Joseph T. "Joe" (Charlene) age 71 of Manahawkin, NJ passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Joe was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and "Pop Pop." He was always willing to lend an ear or a hand to those around him and took immense pride in his loving family. He was a graduate of Archbishop Wood HS (1969) and received a Bachelor's of Science in accounting from LaSalle University (1974). Joe worked for 35 years as a private accountant, most recently with K&W Machine before his retirement in 2009.

Joe enjoyed life on the water in Beach Haven West and spent much of his time during his working years boating, crabbing, and fishing with friends and family. In recent years, he loved his trips with his wife to Atlantic City, enjoyed quiet time with his crossword puzzles, and cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Frances (Cassidy) Wright, as well as his brother, Frank, nieces Michelle Wright & Laura Eberts (Matejik), and nephews Johnny Erickson & Ken Fisher. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Charlene Anne (Hand); sons Andrew (Alyssa) & Peter (Carol); grandchildren Addison & Carter; brothers Fred, John, & Gerry; sisters Miriam (Erickson) & Agnes; along with numerous loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial mass for Joseph will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00AM (10:15AM visitation) at St. Francis of Assisi, 4700 Long Beach Blvd, Brant Beach, NJ.
