David Archer Sr.

David was predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia and his precious grandchildren, Samara Lynn and Michael Francis.

He is survived by his loving children; David Archer, Jr., Brian John Archer, Geraldine Pavelchak and her husband Scott and Amy Archer. He was a cherished Pop-Pop to his adoring grandchildren; Kathryn Archer, Madison Pavelchak and Connor Bell-Dubulis.

David worked for Stafford Township Animal Control Department, retiring in 2013 after many years of service.

He was an active member of the Beach Haven Moose Lodge 1575. He loved his adopted Moose family immensely and it was his Moose family that lovingly named him “Amish Dave”.

He was a proud veteran serving his country in the U.S. Navy.

Dave was a coach for his son’s baseball team, the Indians, he enjoyed fishing and on summer days he loved sitting outside in his backyard and just watching his Koi’s in the fishpond that he built. He and his family enjoyed the days that they would vacation in Pennsylvania, especially Lancaster.

His grandchildren were the apple of his eye, he loved every minute that they spent with him.

A visitation will be held at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 11:00am-3:00pm.
