Christian McCarthy

Christian was born in Summit, NJ and spent many happy childhood years in Cranford, prior to moving to Manahawkin, NJ during his Middle School years. He spent many summers taking trips to Wildwood Crest.

Christian loved unconditionally and with a pure heart, and was non-judgmental. He showed that love to his family, his friends and his two dogs. Christian would befriend anyone with a kind word and fierce loyalty. His quick wit and humor brought joy to all who knew him. He also had a love of music and enjoyed attending many concerts. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Christian is survived by his parents Christina and David Friedman, his sisters; Andrea Fontana and Nicole Friedman and his brother Michael Friedman.

He was predeceased by his YiaYia and Papou Thomas and Athena Pagoulatos.

A memorial service will be held at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 11:00am-2:30pm with a prayer service at 2:00pm.
