Kay was born in Charleston on April 29, 1945, to the late Robert and Frances Osborne Morris. She was a retired Administrative Assistant with the West Virginia Department of Health & Human Services. She worked part time at the YWCA visitation center and attended Malden Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jason Chambers; and sisters, Bobbi Lucas and Martha Morris.
Kay is survived by her daughter, Stacie (Matt) Hively of Charleston; grandchildren, Zachary and Sydney Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Jason Jenkins and Gabriella and Liam Shamblin; and nephew, Robert Thaxton of Charleston.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor John Reed officiating.
A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
