Rev. Williams was a pastor at Burnwell Church of the Nazarene at the time of his death. He had pastored at Seth, Welch, Barrett, Cheylan and Loudendale Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Judy; daughter, Rachel (Joseph); son, Richard; brothers, Andy and David (Paula); sister, Darlena (Greg), one grandson that he absolutely adored, Hudson and many, many other family and friends.
A Celebration of life for Rev. Williams will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2019 at First Church of the Nazarene, Park Ave., Charleston with Bishop Eddie Withrow, D.S. Rev. Bret Layton, Pastor Tom Bolinger and Pastor Randy Lanham officiating. Burial will follow the service at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm., Wednesday, March 27, at the church and one hour prior to the service also at the church on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
