Walter was a big part of our family for years. He traveled with my brother Roy to visit us in DC. One thing I’ll always remember about him is that we would get excited to see him, and the ham he would always bring with him. May he rest in eternal peace!

Such a fun loving guy. I remember so well the times he came to Maryland with my  brother Roy. Walter loved my spaghetti!! RIP Walt!!


Had a good heart when people need help . When people need fire wood he help them out . He was a good person 

Walter, you're gone but you will never be forgotten!

I first met Walter 28 years ago. He was generally quiet until you got to know him. But I knew from an instant who the love of his life was. Him and Diana were perfect together and I enjoyed my time with both of them. He had a great personality and would help you in any way that he could. He was also strong as an ox. I wish the very best to all of his family. Rest peacefully Walter.

Walter was a good person I miss his story he said he to tell he going to  miss . When I walked in the store and seen Walter always ask howy day was . You will be miss rip . I am sorry for the family and friends loss

Walter was a good friend to me and many others. We had a lot of good times in high school playing football,  cruising the streets of Lynchburg and exploring around the Blue Ridge Parkway and James River. He was kind and funny and loved to laugh. I will miss him. It was an honor to know him and those he was close to. Rest In Peace Walter.

Walt and my ex husband, Roy Saunders Sr were like brothers. They argued and fought all the time but they couldn't be separated.  Our home was like his second home. I  have many fond memories of Walter and his late wife Diana.

Mrs Bailey and Debbie, I pray that God will give you comfort and peace during your time of sorrow.

Blake, Walter Jr, (Budda), Aaron, Autumn and Brandon, I pray for your strength and peace now and during the hard days ahead.  Stay strong for each other as Walter and Diana would want you to.
