Sherry Lee Kane

Sherry Lee Kane, 76 of Amherst, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at her home. She was born on November 19, 1946 in New Jersey, daughter of the late John and Norma Hurst. Sherry Lee was a very social person who attended Blue Ridge Community Church and enjoyed reading, cooking and watching her favorite TV shows. Her greatest joy in life however was the time she could spend with her grandkids who were the joy of her life. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Jonathan D. Kane and wife Emily and David P. Kane and wife Danielle. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Taylor, Chloe and Madilynn. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Sherry Lee’s home, 118 Norma Lane, Amherst, VA 24521.
