Sami-Lee Silver Bright

Samie-Lee Silver Ashworth Bright, born on December 2, 1943, passed away from complications of cancer on July 19, 2024. Born in Springfield, MA, December 2, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Ben Silver and Azy Marcus Silver. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Ashworth (Gabriel Livingston) of Fairborn, OH; her son, Marcus Ashworth of Madison Heights; two sisters, Doni Simons (Steve) of Beverly Hills, CA and JoJo Elliot of Amherst; one brother, Alan Silver of Lynchburg and two grandchildren, Winter Livingston and Scarlett Livingston. Samie-Lee was an extraordinary woman who fought a courageous battle. This world is dimmer without her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2024 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Jan Levin officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth Joseph Agudath Shalom Cemetery.
