He was born on June 27, 1960, son of the late Harry Bailey Bare, Sr. and the late Genevieve Glendye Bare.
A seasoned Heavy Equipment Operator, Jr was a master at his craft. He was a one-of-a-kind individual who lived life on his own terms. His tender heart and rebellious spirit made him a true original. He wasn't afraid to express his thoughts and beliefs, no matter how challenging they may have been. Jr found joy in gardening, birdwatching, fishing, and unwinding with a cold beer. He was a fan of country music, and could light up a room with his presence. His dance steps were as lively as his spirit. But most of all, he adored his family and grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and happiness.
Jr's legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched and the memories he created with his unique approach to life.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Linda Tyree Bare; his children, Kelly Bare Overstreet (John), Lindsey Bare, Bailey Bare, and Jessica Field. Grandchildren; Gage Waters, Norah Staton, Emilia Staton, Owen Overstreet. Siblings; Diana Martin (Blake), Laurel Hargis (Glenwood), John Bare (Mary), George Bare (Penny), Penny Bailey. And several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:45 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Whitten Monelison Chapel where a Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm.
