Earline Nowlin Rogers

Earline Nowlin Rogers, 77, of Lynchburg, passed away on Tuesday November 8th. She was the wife of the late Wister Lee Rogers Sr. She was born in Lynchburg, December 18,1944. Earline was preceded in death by her father, Jasper D Nowlin, her mother Hazel Eades Nowlin, as well as her sister Evelyn Fayette. She is survived by her son, Wister Lee Rogers Jr. and his wife, Carolyn; their children Corey Rogers and his wife Samantha, as well as their daughter Danielle N. Rogers. As well as her great granddaughter Alyssa Rogers, her sister Madeline Hammock, and dear friend, Phillip Terry. Earline also had a number of nieces and nephews. Earline worked for a number of years at Old Virginia Candle Factory, while being a devoted wife and mother. Beyond that she was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects from 9am to 5pm Thursday, Nov. 10th at Whitten Monelison Chapel. Graveside service will be held privately. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, alz.org.
