Obituary of Dennis Wayne Tyler
Dennis Wayne Tyler, 67, of Madison Heights, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Sharon Thomas Tyler. Born March 6, 1956 in Alexandria, VA, he was a son of the late William Benjamin Tyler and Marjorie Campbell Tyler. Dennis was an employee of Counts & Dobyns and was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Air Force. Dennis is survived by three daughters, Christina Huber of Lovingston, Angela Barker of Madison Heights, and Pamela Martin (David), of Madison Heights; 14 grandchildren, Kalei, Nikolas, Samantha, Liam, Sierra, Rosa (CJ), Brandon, Kimberly, Skyla, Christopher, David, Chloe, Ivan, and Alexander; 3 great grandchildren, Elaina, Emberlynn, and Everleigh; four sisters, Kathy Robinson (Terry), Betty Cook (Ben), Judy Black, and Janet Franklin (Bruce) and two brothers, William Bucky Tyler (Mary) and John Tyler (Gail). American Legion Post 16 will provide military honors at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
