David Martin Foster

David Martin “Marty” Foster, 70, of Madison Heights passed away Monday, October 21, 2024. He was the loving son of the late Elmer True Foster and Edith Martin Foster. Marty was a steadfast individual who remained true to his passions, especially his love for classic western films. An avid movie enthusiast, he enjoyed sharing his thoughts on what he was watching or planning to watch next. He was also a devoted son, providing dedicated care for his mother during her time of need. Marty’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Those left to cherish Marty’s memory include his numerous cousins and extended family, and his dear friend and neighbor Frieda Gillespie. A graveside service for Marty will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11am at Elon Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Pastor Cody Bingham and Pastor Barry Tucker.
