Angelo dedicated 42 years to Ford Motor Company, retiring as a millwright on January 1, 2009. He was known for his strong work ethic and took pride in sharing captivating stories about his work and his life. Angelo's love for his family, including his church family at Amazing Grace Church, was evident in everything he did. A passionate traveler, Angelo cherished visits to his birthplace in Italy and trips to Las Vegas, which were always highlights of his life.
Angelo also found pleasure in gardening and often enjoyed a good day at the casino. In his earlier days, he found joy in cooking and preparing delicious meals that brought everyone together. His warmth, storytelling, and dedication to those he loved will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Angelo was a beloved husband to Denise for 42 wonderful years; loving father to the late Peter and Angela (The late Michael) Simmons; cherished grandfather to Anthony and Levi; dearest brother to the late Lucia, Benedetto (Laura), the late Maria, the late Francesco, and Antonio Rodi, along with being uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Angelo will be held Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
An in-state will occur Monday, November 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church, 29860 Dequindre Rd, Warren, MI 48092.
