Alva Samuel Taylor

Suddenly. From Detroit, Michigan. Long-time resident of Troy Michigan. Husband of 65 years to Frances (Burkle). Brother to John Trumbull, Robert Michael, and Dr. Maryann Devine. Father to Trudy Naimy (Robert, Sr) Timothy and Kimberly Hall (James). Loving grandfather to Robert Naimy Jr. (Melissa), Timothy Taylor, Jr, Megan Beardsley (Brandon), Kristopher Lixey, Michael Taylor, and Bradly Taylor. Mr. Taylor also had 5 great-great grandchildren.

Bud was still a licensed Master Plumber at time of his passing. He traveled the US extensively helping to maintain systems on nuclear power plants. He also spent many months working in the Antarctic working for the National Science Foundation at McMurdo United States Base. He enjoyed reading, metal detecting and talking with family and friends. He will be missed.

Public visitation will be held on Monday July 19, 2021, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. with a reflections service for Bud, 5:00 p.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Road Madison Heights, Michigan 48071.
