Rita Kautz Cimino, 88, of Old Saybrook passed away peacefully on May 1, 2015. Rita was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Neil Kautz and Marion Kautz. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Davis of New York City and Laurian McCauley of Madison, and granddaughter, Grace McCauley. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Fred. A graduate of Hillhouse High School, Rita also attended New Haven College. She had a long and successful career in public service, culminating as the Program Director of the Greater Bridgeport Elderly Nutrition Program. She resided in Orange for over 50 years before moving to Guilford, and then finally to Old Saybrook in 2014. Friends and family may visit Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road in Madison on Wednesday, May 6 from 10 – 11 am.
