Peter F. Willig

He is survived by his sister in law, Karen Rossomando of Branford, CT and his nieces, Kristi Rivelli (Douglas) of Westport, CT, Kara Larzelere (Gregory) of Stoneham, MA and Donna Ryan (John) of Branford, CT.

Peter grew up in New York City, the son of Margaret and Joseph Willig. He received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the City College of New York and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Peter then went to school at night and received a law degree from New York University.

He was called to active duty during the Korean War as a 2nd lieutenant of engineering. Peter served in Korea, the Philippines and Japan.

Early in his career he worked for several engineering firms in Manhattan. He finished his career at K & E where he served as vice president and general counsel for more than 10 years.

Peter enjoyed playing tennis and squash, geography and history, reading good books and watching Masterpiece theater. Peter was also a 67 year subscriber to The Wall Street Journal.

A private funeral and burial will be held for family only.
