She was born on January 21, 1980, in Torrington, the daughter of Shirley Hunt of Bradenton, FL, and Patrick R. Liddle of Deep River.
Katie was known for her acerbic wit, fierce intellect and big beautiful accepting heart. She championed causes as wide ranging and eclectic as LBGTQ rights, environmental protections, indigious people’s rights and political activism.
In addition to her parents, Katie is survived by her siblings Diana Rodgers of Tallahassee, FL, and Topher Liddle of Brunswick, ME. as well as her five nieces and nephews, Max, Ellie, Nolan, Aiden and Quinn. She also leaves the love of her life, John Robinson.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 20th from 4-7pm at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison. In lieu of flowers Katie would want you to “use the system to beat the system”.
