Brendan Francis Regan, 53 of Guilford, CT passed away on Thursday, September 28 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in New Haven on December 3rd, 1963. Brendan graduated from Daniel Hand High School in 1983. He was president of Regan Metal Corporation which he owned and operated for over 20 years. He was very proud of the company since it had been in his family for over 100 years. He never missed a day of work unless he was in the hospital for treatment and was very close with all of his employees.
Brendan was a lifelong parishioner at St. Margaret’s Church and donated services to the church over the years. Brendan loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time on Martha’s Vineyard in the summer. He loved playing golf and fishing, and also deeply appreciated listening to all types of music.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Elizabeth (Moran) Regan, his son Nicholas and his daughter Kaitlyn, his parents, Joseph and Eileen Regan of Madison, his brother Joe and his wife Kim of Brookfield and his sister Sheila Regan of Madison, his in-laws Michael and Marcia Moran of Madison and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and close friends.
Visitation hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home in Madison from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 3rd.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 4rth.
Burial will be private and held at a later date.
