Amanda Marie Bernier, 32, of Madison loving wife of Christopher Bernier, passed away after her courageous battle with ALS. Amanda was born in Tonawanda, New York on May 28, 1984 to Jeffrey and the late Deborah (Herget) Pumm. In addition to her father, Amanda leaves behind her husband Chris, and her Loving daughter Arabella, brother Jeffrey Pumm and her two dogs Addy and Jackson. Amanda is also survived by Grandparents Robert and the late Joy Herget and Donna Herget. Phyliss and Edward Pumm were predeceased by Amanda. Extended family includes many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Amanda was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend - an incredible person who knew her purpose on earth. She was a scientist, firefighter, EMT, triathlete, friend and true inspiration. Amanda loved the outdoors and was especially fond of Rushford Lake. She has shown us how to focus on the positive no matter what life may bring. Amanda did not want people to mourn her loss, but rather celebrate her life. Take the time to stop, pause, and realize the beauty and wonder of the world around you.
