Tracy Ellen Strickland Davis, 55, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11:00am at Martha Bowman Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tim Steffen officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends from 10:00am until service time at the church in the Damascus Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Cerebral Palsy, www.ucp.org. Tracy was born in Macon, Georgia to Frances Bruce Van Horn and the late Richard Dean Van Horn and was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Strickland and sister, Miriam Van Horn. She was retired from Kroger as the Seafood Manager and was active in Kroger’s UFCW. Tracy was a member of Martha Bowman Memorial United Methodist Church and was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Glenn Davis; children, Tasha (Stan) Christian and Taylor Garrett; grandchildren, Harlee (Hunter) Miller, Brandon Christian and Alex Christian; three great grandchildren; and sisters, Lauri Van Horn and Cris Van Horn.
