Sylvia Kay Walthall McCallum, age 86, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Per her wishes, Memorial Services will be private for the family only. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the donor's favorite charity.
Mrs. McCallum was born July 12, 1936 in Savannah, Georgia the daughter of the late Ruth Gordon Walthall and Julian Wilbur Walthall and was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Dever McCallum, Jr. She was a graduate of Miller High School and was retired from Armstrong World Industries. Mrs. McCallum loved her family, her horses and her Georgia Bulldogs.
Kay is survived by her children, Phil Ivey (Ellie); daughter, Lisa Palmer (Steve); step-son, Buddy McCallum;
granddaughters, Allison McCallum and Chelsea Ivey; grandsons, Ryan McCallum and Mat Ivey (Natalie); great-granddaughter, Addilyn Ivey; brother, Julian Wilbur Walthall, Jr. of Palm Coast, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.
