Macon-Susan B. Grubbs of Macon passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, May 23, 2011 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Father Justin Ferguson officiating. A Rosary Mass will be held Sunday, May 22, 2011 at 6:00 PM with a visitation to follow till 7:30 PM at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street.
Mrs. Grubbs was widow of Allen Grubbs and the daughter of the late Martha Barbero and Henry Horne Barrett. She was born in Monroe, Louisiana. Mrs. Grubbs was a teacher assistant at the Georgia Academy for the Blind and a member at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by 2 Sons: Cary (Teri) Grubbs of Macon and Barry (Tracey) Grubbs of Weatherford, Tx; 1 Grandson: Allen Grubbs; 1 sister: Ann Hatton of Macon; Several Nieces and Nephews
