Sharon Marie Perryman Gibson

Sharon Marie P. Gibson, 61, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jay Reppert officiating. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue.

Mrs. Gibson, wife of the late David Gibson, was born in Mobile, AL the daughter of the late Henry Perryman and Edna G. Dorsey. She was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joys were in her family, fishing and country music. Mrs. Gibson was of the Baptist faith. She was the mother of the late Michael Gibson.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheila (Mike) Johnson of Macon; her sons, Neal (Marie Dee) Johns of Jones County, Randy Gibson of Albany; three granddaughters; six grandsons; three great grandsons; one great granddaughter; her sister, Becky (Rev. Jay) Reppert of Albany; three half-brothers and half-sisters and several nieces and nephews.
