Sally Brown Glaze, 65, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Wildwood Baptist Church, 701 Greentree Parkway, Macon GA. Entombment will be in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will meet friends on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Lake Wildwood Baptist Church, 701 Greentree Parkway, Macon GA 31220.
Mrs. Glaze was born in Buford, GA to the late Gladdis and Esther Brown. She was preceded in death by her son, Tom Shumaker. Mrs. Glaze was co-owner of Glaze Research Inc. and was a member of Lake Wildwood Baptist Church and worked in the Food Pantry at the church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband of thirty three years, Michael L. Glaze of Macon, daughters, Misty (Daniel) Bradley of Byron, Kee’liyah Shumaker-Glaze of Macon, six grandchildren, Courtney Shumaker, Le’Michael Shumaker, Desmond Shumaker, Shamon Shumaker, Dustin Jackson, and Sara Bradley, two sisters, Annette Bowen and Sandra Alvis, brother, Sammy (Wanda) Brown, and several nieces and nephews.
