Peggy R. Fussell

Peggy R. Fussell, 80, passed away on Monday, December, 19, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Russell Whitehurst officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.

Peggy was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Donald A. and Dorothy Minshew Reeves. She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Collins. She was retired after forty-one years of service from Bank of America. Peggy was a member of Light House Baptist Church and director of STAR Club for 8 years. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Slye Whitehurst (Walter) of Macon, son, Jeffrey Slye (Patricia) of Memphis, TN, six grandchildren, Ashton Watts, Lacey Mullis, Joshua Hinson, Robert Slye, Austin Slye and Anna Slye, two great grandchildren, Harper and Easton, three sisters, Nell Jenkins, Sandra Oliver and Jean Shipman all of Macon.
