Martha Katherine Riley

Martha Katherine Riley, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Baggett officiating. Burial will be at New Elim Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the funeral home.

Martha was born in Social Circle, Georgia to the late James Henry and Menler McMichael Blackwell. She was preceded in death by her son, Wesley Riley. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base and Walmart. Martha was a member of New Elim Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard and word search games. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Kenneth) McGrotha of Macon, grandchildren, Tania Bartlett of Macon, Kelli (Mark) Barton of Macon, Brannon (Stella) McGrotha of Nashville, TN, five great grandchildren, Riley Bartlett, Asher Barton, Teagan Bartlett, Alicia Barton and Gwyneth McGrotha and a baby girl Barton February 1, 2024, sister, Joan Wood of Macon and several nieces and nephews.
